After some time trying to find the easiest way to update my blog on the go (since that's where I always seem to be), I have found an app for my blackberry that will let me create blog posts on the road. So, without further ado... Here goes... See you on the flip side. :)

Happy 4th of July!

It is beautiful day to go out and celebrate the birthday of our great nation. We are greatly blessed to live in a country that provides such freedom and opportunity.

This photo is from last year's fireworks display down at Tempe Town Lake. I can't wait for tonight to be able to go out and do some more photography and enjoy the spectacle of the fireworks. Now, I just need to figure out where to go see fireworks.

So, go out, enjoy, and have a happy and safe 4th of July!

Ok, so this last week I decided to see what all the fuss was about. People had been telling me for a while that I needed to be on Facebook (you know who you are). And it's been great. I've been able to catch up with some old friends and connect with many friends. And(this is the dangerous part) I figured out how to get my facebook updates on my phone.

For those of you reading this who would like to join me on facebook, I look forward to seeing you on there. :)

Flying with John

I got to go flying with John on Saturday and it was a great time. We flew up to Prescott for breakfast and then took our time flying back. It was a blast to see the sights like that and I have added some of the photos from the trip to my photo sharing page. Check it out.

I Finally Have An Answer...

So, last night I got the answer to the age old question... "Would it hurt you to take out the trash???" To which I can now answer Yes! Or at least it did this time. What do I mean?? Keep reading.

Last night while taking out the trash, I forgot there had been a broken vase in one of my trash cans and while carrying out the bag, it brushed up against my leg and left a 3 inch gash that needed stitches. While it was a fairly deep cut, I was fortunate that it was also a very clean cut. In all, I got 11 stitches (have been considering exagerating it to 50 to make the story seem more manly).

So, amidst all the chaos, I managed to snap a few pictures with my camera phone. I am warning you... take a look at your own risk. Click Here for Photos

So, I want to offer my sincere thanks to the fine doctors, nurses and staff that took care of getting me stitched back up.

Lots going on right now. Last night we had our 4th Annual Bishops BBQ up at South Mountain park. It was a perfect night out and after serving hamburgers for 800, people mingled, danced, and tried their skills in an inflatable obstacle course. Everyone seemed to have a great time and we've gotten very good at hosting these events for large groups. There will be photos posted soon for all those that want to see linked from the TAUS Events Website.

Also new this week, we have added a new agent to the team and we are very excited to welcome Marie Horn to the High Horizons family.

Hello World!

Welcome to the new home of my blog.

I feel like there should be some kind of Grand re-opening celebration. But for now, I am just focused on getting going. In other words, there is much more to come. I know typically, the Hello World Post comes first, but I was playing with BlogML and managed to export and import a previous post of mine from my birthday.

So, here's the update - There has been lots going on and development of www.HighHorizons.com and it is coming along nicely. It's very exciting to see it take shape. I hope you will take the time to go and check it out and then let me know what you think.

Additionally, development has begun on my personal website and that will be working hand in hand with my blog. Enjoy!
